ERP HRMSFunctional Analyst

Job Description and Requirements


To provide technical guidance in analyzing, planning, implementing, and executing business-specific processes using Oracle Applications, and will Work with business units to develop and manage processes for continued advancement of the company's use of the Oracle ERP technology and establish best practices within the user community.


  • Performing fit-gap analysis to accommodate as much new functionality as possible out- of-the-box without the need for customization;
  • Collaborating with users on day-to-day operations; defining the rules and business process and how configuration supports the business operations in Oracle, addressing and documenting issues, resolving production data issues and follow through to resolution
  • Leads business requirements review; develops approaches, methods to be used, timetables and data collection techniques; and present finding and recommendation to business owner and the ERP Team
  • Possess an understanding of workflow and personalization
  • Identify training gaps, define and develop training materials
  • Building the capacity of the business owners to problem solving, analyze the issue, document the issue and resolve the issue.
  • Creating, maintaining and monitoring issues and change requests.
  • Coordinating with the ERP Team in creating Oracle Service Requests and following them through to resolution.
  • Serves as trouble-shooter in the day-to-day operation of Oracle HCM and coordinates Issues with ERP Team and the business owners.
  • Developing automated testing scripts to support patches and upgrades.
  • Testing system configurations for enhancements and future deployments.
  • Collaborating with business owners, ERP functional leads, ERP technical leads and departmental users to streamline business processes and optimize Oracle configuration.
  • Develops functional specifications needed by the business owner.
  • Documenting business processes and writing  Standard Operational Procedures.

  Job Context: Develop and conduct testing for applications, document business processes, conduct training of end users and resolve problems with current Oracle and other ERP applications. Position will analyze remaining Legacy System requirements needed and investigate solutions.
