ERP Finance Functional Analyst

Job Description and Requirements

The Oracle Finance Functional Analyst is responsible for actively supporting production system issues, month-end closing. Responsible for new system enhancements/changes in extending the existing capabilities to implemented Oracle and custom functionalities. document business processes, conduct training of end users and resolve problems with Oracle ERP applications. Position will analyze any remaining Legacy System requirements needed and investigate solutions.

At least 5 years of techno functional experience on finance module covering GL, AR, AP, FA & CM with exposure towards personalization, APIs, AME flow, reports and Oracle AIM & PJM flow.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Responsible for addressing ERP month end closing activities and resolve technical issues.
Handle the day to day support of key financial applications and enable reporting of the same.
Troubleshoot and resolve techno functional issues liaising with end users and IT.
Independently write SQL queries in order to quickly trouble shoot issues.
Participate in ERP upgrade projects and Business intelligence projects.
Perform user acceptance testing and validations to ensure that the application meets user requirements and are bug-free.
Support the Application Manager – Finance towards any new system or process implementation.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams on business needs, information, applications, and long term plans while helping to ensure integration with strategic plans.

Perform an Impact Assessment due to process changes, both functional and organizational.

Facilitate and guide process change management into a steady state.

Establish change controls.

Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues.
